What does it cost owners?
Posting a job is free, and there is no obligation to hire. The platform service fee is already included in every quoted price — so the price you see on a bid is the price you pay, with nothing added at checkout.
How are tradespeople vetted?
Five checks before anyone can bid: business registration and trade licences, public liability insurance verified with the insurer, government ID, references and reviewed workmanship — and then ratings monitored after every single job. Professionals who fall below standard lose their verified status.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Your payment is held by cala and only released when you confirm the job is done. If there is a dispute, our resolution team steps in — we will arrange for the work to be put right or refund the held payment. You are never chasing a stranger for your money.
Which areas do you cover?
